doc289456
Ever since installing AUv2 the stock P3D Air Traffic Control has stopped working. I can open the ATC window. I can see the options. I can choose the options. However no text is displayed in the top half of the ATC window. And I get no ATC audio. Other audio in the sim is fine. I don’t have any 3rd party ATC installed. ATC was functioning properly before installing AUv2 P3Dv4.5 How do I fix this?j
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, no issues here, see below of active ATC in default Maule at YMML and the audio works too. I'm not aware of any components included with AUv2 that would globally break ATC. As far as I know ATC availability is tied to the status of the electrical system of the aircraft; have you tried different aircraft? Cheers, Holger
doc289456
No I haven’t tried another aircraft. That could be a solution. I’ll try next time I fly.
doc289456
Sorry no. I tried a number of aircraft. I tried a number of locations. Ie. also outside Australia. But no change. I still have no ATC. How do I fix this?
Brent Lewis
Hi, This happened to me a while ago the ATC just stopped for some reason. The solution for me is to uninstall the P3D Content and install the latest version. Hope this helps.
doc289456
Thanks Brent. I will give that a try. although I did update a few weeks ago. This only went wrong after updating to au v2. But I'll try updating
doc289456
Brent, I was up to date as I suspected. However I reinstalled P3D content as you suggested and I have ATC sound & text again. Thanks
