freelander
I Installed the Australia region. There is a scenery problem in the Sydney City region. Partial black and night scene pieces. YSSY Airport is ok. No other scenery installed here. I use Ultimate Terrain NG and Ground Environment P3D (should cause no problems). The rest of Australia looks fine. freelander
Nick Cooper
Hello, from what I read, Ground Environment P3D is not compatible with FTX Global, so it might not be compatible with Australia v1 either. Is this anomaly all over Australia or just at Sydney?
freelander
Hello Nick, Thanks for the quick response. I didn't install FTX global, but only the Region Australia. As far as I understand Ground Environment user guide (see attachment), GE should be compatible with Orbx Regions and single sceneries, as they don't interfere with global default textures. There seems to be some other anomalies in the scenery ( I just looked in Alice Springs, where some highways are crossing the village). In the GE user guide it is recommended to "set the mode or central interface switch fot the FTX region product to default". How to do this? Regards, Gerard
Nick Cooper
Hello, that instruction is well out of date and refers back to FTX Central one. I am not at all sure that "GEP3D" is the cause but the Australia product does not work in quite the same way as the more recent regions. Try this: Quote You can restore the landclass definitions by going to ORBX\Scripts\unified\backup. Copy lclookup.bgl and paste it into Scenery\BASE\Scenery, allowing it to overwrite. I am guessing that the GEP3D and Orbx landclass bgl files are not the same.
michaelsimmonite
Hi I had that problem before. This solved it for me: Open FTX Central. Click 'Settings' (bottom left) Scroll down on the right to 'Tools' Click 'Force Migration' Hope it works for you
