My system basically is Asus S1151 ATX TUF B360-PRO GAMING DDR4 Motherboard 16GB DDR4 G.Skill (2x8GB) F4-3000C15D-16GRBB 3000 Mhz Ripjaws 4 RAM Video Card : Gigabyte GTX1080 8GB WindForce OC PCle GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD That's the Techy stuff. I have followed the upgrading instructions exactly, so don't know why I still have this 6% stalling when loading problem. YBCG takes 3 mins 40secs to completely load. It sits at 6% for about 3 mins 20 secs and then takes off and completes the loading in the next 30 secs. YBBN - 1 min 35sec slow but continuously progresses. YBCS - 3 mins 10 sec sticks at 33% for 2 min 35 sec. Nearly as bad as YBCG YSCB - 55 seconds I expected Canberra to be longer due to its fairly high density. Any help appreciated. BernieFlyer Posted May 22, 2019 Share Posted May 22, 2019 Hi Don, you think it is stalled but I don't think it is. It is doing lots of stuff which is why when it passes 6% it flies to a finish. I found that if I was in a scenario and started a new scenario (the same one that appeared stuck at 6% for a longish period - YMLT) I did not get stuck at 6% but the overall load time for the scenario was the same. You may wish to try this. In my initial load of YMLT it stayed at 6% for 18 seconds then finished quickly but when starting it from another Scenario as a new Scenario it stopped at 6% for only a second or so. Despite this it took the same time to load as the rest of the load was much longer than the so called stuck at 6% case. My two bob's worth. I might be wrong but I think it also is to do with the file size, the density of it. YBCG is pretty full on with the airport and the surrounds, casino's and other stuff along the coast, so I think that is part of the problem. Can't quite work out why it takes longer than Brisbane YBBN as its pretty much the same, but the airport is bigger, so should take longer you would think. After a bit of messing around and checking many airports, I've come to the conclusion that for airports such as YBCG and YBBN its pretty much the file size that dictates the time required to load it. The strange thing is that for whatever reason Sometimes it takes YBCG about 3mins 15secs to load, and other times 2mins 45secs. I'll take the shorter time with a smile when it happens.
