Hi I am new here, first question, no idea if i'm in the right place.

 

I want to run my scenery from orbx on my d drive but every time I change my scenery.ini file to point to the d drive it doesn't boot up properly and the scenery is missing. 

 

Is there a way to do this so I can have xplane11 on the c drive and all my orbx folders on the D drive?this is what I've tried

A couple of ways to do what you want but the easiest is to make shortcut links to your Orbx files and put those shortcut links into your C drive XP Custom Scenery folder. You can't just adjust your scenery.ini, you must have a folder for the relevant scenery in your Custom Scenery folder.

So you go into your D drive, OrbxINUSE folder and right click on the 5 Orbx folders individually and choose Create shortcut. Then take the 5 shortcuts and place them in your C drive XP/ Custom Scenery folder. Run XP and then come out. Open pour Scenery_packs.ini and place the 2 Barton entries at the top of the .ini. Place the 3 TEGB Central files just below Global Airports. 

I don't know what the 3 files of Earth nav data/ terrain and textures are that show in your .ini but I assure you they are not correct. They are files that should be in a folder with a scenery name. I think they are part of an Ortho4xp file. If they are then they should be at the bottom of the entries and below LOWI Demo if LOWI demo is your last entry, and the Overlay for that can be placed just above the Ortho file or just above Global Airports.
