martinc
Folks, Need an opinion, using an LCD screen as a basis, does anyone think theres a visible difference between using a VGA > VGA card to monitor connection and using DVI > DVI connection..? John Dow
Yes I have both connections side by side at work and the vga cable does deliver a slightly lower quality. However, each is excellent quality and you would never pick one as better over the other if they were in separate rooms. Unless I could get a free DVI cable I would not bother with a changeover from vga. One thing the DVI doesn't need is the auto adjustment, if I hit that button on the DVI monitor it simply says not available, I presume the picture is already optimised somehow in the DVI system.
