Steve Fetbrandt
Help! Please! After months of successfully simming using ORBX scenery, I checked the website for updates and found a couple. I downloaded and installed them. I also migrated my scenery to the "unified lclookup" and got a message acknowledging a success migration. After doing all that, now I can't launch P3Dv4. All I get is the splash screen and the little blue Windows 10 "working" circle. I've already tried reinstalling my P3dv4 client and reactivating it. Still nothing.... Any ideas what I can do get my simulator back -- preferably without having to remove and reinstall all of P3D and ORBX? P3D had been working flawlessly for me for at least a year until I did this ORBX update....
Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. The most likely cause it that the scenery.cfg file has become corrupted, usually because scenery library entries have been written below the "Default scenery" entry. This can be cured by deleting the scenery.cfg file, running P3D once to create a new default copy and then setting FTX Central correctly, like this:
