Steve Gordner Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Purchase code 5c7ec7ce00388 Just purchased Global Base, Vector and Trees for FSX-SE. Install keeps hanging up during Extracting of Global base pack at approx. 52% complete. I get a pop up page with a ton of exceptions, file access denied errors, etc. I cannot print this page, and right clicking gives me no options to cut, copy, print, nothing I installed FTX Central first with no problem. I have all AV shut down I seem to be locked out of trying anything else like a manual install as FTX central will not let me cancel the current operation, even after reload it just keeps trying and failing to install the global base pack. win 7 64 bit Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Doug Sawatzky Posted March 6, 2019 Share Posted March 6, 2019 Hi Steve, welcome to the forums You can shut down the FTX Central operation and get a clean start by deleting the Users\name\AppData\Local\Orbx\Metadata contents. or using the part 2 of the below topic. Then, 1: Ensure you have enough free hard drive space. 2. Ensure your UAC is turned off, and that you are running as administrator. 3. Check and\or disable your antivirus and be sure it is not being blocked. 4.
