resolved Southern California hanging up P3Dv4.3 during terrain load

After having to clone my SSD drive to a new one because it was developing bad blocks, I have a start-up problem with P3Dv4.3. It hangs up at 6% or 7% during the terrain loading phase forever. By turning off all my add-ons (after dealing with the re-licensing issue of those licensed to the old SSD) I was able to eliminate them as source of my problem. By turning off all my add-on sceneries and then selectively turning them back on, I was able to isolate the problem to FTX Southern California.

 

Have not updated to P3Dv4.4 because not all my add-ons have been updated for it yet.

 

Is the likely fix for this uninstalling Southern California in FTX Central 3 and the re-installing or is there something else I need to do to fix this?

I would think that the first thing to do would be to verify files in FTX Central for SCA and

any other Orbx products that may have been affected by the hardware problem.
