jankees
I bought GB south for P3D today, but FTX central can't install it because there is only 36 GB free space on C: and it needs more. Although P3D is on C:, all my scenery is on D: and there is still enough space there. Is there a way to circumvent this problem?
andy1252
Hi Jan, not wishing to pre-empt Nick, but just noticed this. If you haven't changed your "Temp Download Location" to use your D: drive that's probably what's causing this, I would guess. In FTXC, go to settings, and there's an entry in the "General" section that will show you the current location and a button to change it. My understanding is that a download needs around the same size as the eventual installed product (or may it's the same as the download size) in addition to the eventual size (so if the product is 45 gb you might need around 90gb in all). If Nick comes along and says otherwise - do whatever he says <grin>!
