twister
Hi I'm trying to install Scotland. After downloading, the installation stops after 1.37Gb out of 4.88Gb. FSX is on the D drive which is full but I've looked at 'settings' and the installation is to the E drive which has adequate space. This is where I have all my scenery. What do I have to do to get the installation completed? Thanks. Ray
Nick Cooper
Hello, you cannot amend the location to which the files are installed, you can only amend the location in which the installer works. Perhaps you could move your ORBX folder to the E drive?
twister
Thanks Nick I thought I had an ORBX folder in drive E from when I installed England satisfactorily. At the present the folders in drive E are shown attached. Is this correct? Ray
twister
Further to my last post, the simulator FSX folder is on drive D which is full but contains an ORBX folder (at the moment this ORBX folder contains the folders FTX_AU and FTX_EU from my previous installing England). Does all this meet the requirement: "FTX Central requires that there is an ORBX folder inside the simulator root folder"
Nick Cooper
Yes it does but if the drive is full, you will presumably not be able to add files to it.
twister
Hi Nick, thank you for the reply. I've decided to replace the two C and D drives by larger capacity drives. So hopefully this will allow me, straight forwardly, to install my recent purchases from ORBX. Ray
