The Owl Posted November 12, 2018 Share Posted November 12, 2018 Hi I bought this terrain on Friday off Steam but everytime I load it quickly crashes. The other FS2 sceneries don't, just this one. The Owl Posted November 12, 2018 Author Share Posted November 12, 2018 My Orbx program only crashes in VR both Open GL and Vulcan, it's fine on my monitor. I think I know what the problem is now. I have the new Samsung Odyssey + HMD which is a mixed reality headset that runs through Steam Beta. I think Orbx has a compatibility issue. You might want to look into it because this headset has the top VR display in the world right now ( better than very expensive corporate HMD's) and will more than likely be the main HMD in flight sims for the next couple of years, because it's so visually superior to anything else out there now or in the foreseeable future, and it runs on the same hardware as lower end HMD's do. Your software looks truly incredible through this hi res display, silky smooth and no Screen door effect. You would have to see it to believe it. Also on Nov 18 it goes on sale for only $300 for Black Friday, so I can't imagine anyone who wants high end VR not upgrading to it eventually. Thanks for your help, Cheers!
