Bugdani
Hello, approching KEGE ( AFS2) is not easy and specialy with a misaligned Localizer. Indeed, IVAZ, the loc 25 is not aligned with the RWY as shown here below: Is any improvement possible ? BugDani.
ftxpolo
This is how it works in real life. This is because the approach type is an LDA and therefore it is offset from the runway course, in this case 3 degrees.
Bugdani
Sorry but not agree. 3 degrees between the RWY25's QFU (253°) and the approach course (250°) BUT the aiming touch down point is to be the treshold of the RWY and not the service road like you can see on the pic. PS: Of course , I speak only about lateral path and not of the other difference between VGSI and glidepath angle! Dani.
Bugdani
EUREKA ! I've found the answer ! IVAZ ( 108.30) is not the good frequency for LOC RWY25 at KEGE despite AFS2 informations. After checking "Airnav" I've found that it is IESI (109.75).... the good one ! And correctly with a light offset of 3° like the reality. Don't know what is IVAZ 108.3 ?
