chasndav
I have: FTX Global Base FTX Global openLC FTX Global Vector Orbx Libraries Sothern California Installed on my Win 10 home pc running FSX Steam. I just bought and installed the Steve DX10 fixer, yet I cannot help but feel that my results are less than inspiring. It essentially looks like flattened satellite images with generic FSX buildings sitting on top. All my graphic and terrain settings are as they suggest in the user manual(s). I have attached an image of the backside of the KSAN terminal to hopefully show this. I'm sure the issue is that I have not set this all up correctly so any help would be appreciated. Doug Sawatzky
Hi Charles, welcome to the forums A more preferred method of posting screenshots so we can get a better look is outlined in the below topic, also please keep in mind to use the Shift+Z keys to add coordinates for any other shots that are not at an obvious airport as the above. chasndav
Ok well I don’t plan on posting anymore screenshots. Do you actually have an answer to the question I posted?
Doug Sawatzky
Sorry, I don't have any answers and I am not sure what the question is....posting more screenshots would be very helpful. But please start with the basics below... Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?) Ensure all of your 3rd party non Orbx addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries. Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below" just below your last 3rd party addon. Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below" just below your FTX entries. and click "Save". Then run the "Force Migration" option. Then, if you have Vector installed, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, and check the Australia Add-Ons under the “Settings” tab, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning. chasndav
Ok thanks for the tips. I do not ( I do not think) have any other third party scenery installed but can you just confirm where I should I place FTX (is it at the top or below one of these entries)? Please note there are a bunch of "xxxx Base" files-I just put the beginning and ending of that list in these pics so you could see all the other fields that are listed without seeing pics of all the "Base" files in-between. Thanks, Charles
