Valkyris
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-58920K CPU @ 3.30GHz Installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB System type: Windows 10 64 - bit, x64 - based processor Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 w/ 8GB video RAM Flight Sim: FSX Acceleration When trying to load and run the ORBX EU England software I consistently receive an out of memory error. I have tried running it with all FSX settings at their minimum and still get the same error, although it takes a bit longer for that error to show up with the settings decreased. I have tried uninstalling EU-England and reinstalled with no change it the error generation.
mopperle
FSX is a 32bit application which can only access 4GB RAM, no matter how much RAM you have installed. So the combination of demanding addons (sceneries, airports, aircraft, weather tools, AI tools etc.) with wrong settings usually lead to such OOMs. Solutions (I assume you have the HIGHMEMFIX applied): - lower settings - turn off sceneries you do not need for various scenarios (SimstarterNG is an excellent tool to set up various profiles) - IMHO best solution: Migrate to P3Dv4; it is a 64bit application and can take out the best of your 16GB RAM and your highend graphic card (both are oversized for FSX).
