Snuffy
Order#: 5b6f5c3b2d27c. I recently purchased the NA Northern California area. I installed the FTX Central 3 UI and everything went smoothly. I loaded up FSX:SE and the scenery was not there. Do I need to do something else after the scenery was installed? I want to the scenery library and saw no tag that showed ORBX in the add-on library. I would appreciate any help.
Doug Sawatzky
Hi, welcome to the forums Please install the Orbx Libraries, they are located in FTX Central 3 as shown in the example image circled in red below. Cheers Doug
Snuffy
It says that the product is installed and up-to-date.
Doug Sawatzky
Ok, you maybe have or had another version of FSX on your system? If so.... Please use the FSX Registry Utility found at this link https://www.tweakfs.com/store/free_tools.php and use the "Set Path" option and point it to your FSXSE installation. Snuffy
So I set the path per the FSX Registry tool. Do I need to uninstall and re-install the ORBX file? Also I do find the ORBX folder in the FSX:SE just not seeing it in the scenery library.
Doug Sawatzky
No need to reinstall, just open FTXC3 and select FSX and let it activate for a few moments.
Snuffy
Unfortunately that didn't work either. Running out of ideas, sorry.
Doug Sawatzky
Do you have two versions of FSX installed?
Snuffy
I do, does that cause an issue with ORBX?
Snuffy
Ok, I think I got it to work by manually placing the file in the Add-On scenery file and then adding it. Thanks!
