Bassman
Hi there, looking through a 'million' sites and I know I am a cheap "bas......." but how come for such a historic aircraft no one has done a freeware for FSX. Of course if anyone knows of a Spitfire that is compatible with FSX please let me know. Cheers Dan
Edward Boyte
Did you search in Simviation? http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/perlfect/search/search.pl?p=1〈=en&include=&exclude=&penalty=5&mode=all&q=spitfire
alan2
Why dont you spend about $AU20 or 10poundish on an A2A and get one of the best,
Virtualwombat
The way I think about it is that life is too short to drink bad wine or fly poor FSX aircraft. Go the RAS spit and enjoy slips and spins you'll never see in a freeware product. Cheers, Noel.
Bassman
Thanks Guys Although I said I was "cheap Bas...." I do agree with alan2 and Noel and I appreciate the downloads site from Nzeddy. Alan or Noel, which of the payware products if any, have an RAAF texture? Cheers Dan

Cheers Dan Hey Dan, I'm not familiar with the A2A spit, but the Excellent Real Air one has at least one Aussie livery included and "Jeansy" has done some additional first class repaints for RAAF and RAN spitties.. a quick search of the OZx download section should bring them up. Here's one of his repaints. Thanks Jeansy!
tennyson
That Jeansey is one of a handful of superior artists that live on the OZx site. I just wonder if these companies who sell sim aircraft know of the wonderful PR job these guys do for them. In many cases their products are superior to the bought ones. Bravo21
Hi Dan I think one of the best free spitfire are the 2-Seater Mk9T. This is an FS9 model but it works fine on FSX SP2! The best thing are the sound Look here: http://www.heavenlyhangars.com/ahmembers/specials.html Regards Marco
