John York Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Over the desert again about 103 nm across the Petermann Ranges from Ayers Rock to Docker River. Thought I'd give the SIAI Machetti and airing; That's Lake Amadeus you can just see beyond the right wing; This is really Petermann country; Getting close, the Docker River on the left; Not a lot to see here but at least they've sent a car for me. Goodness knows where I'm going to sleep tonight. It really is miles from anywhere although I did see a car going along the road a few minuts ago; Well, I'm gradually getting there. On the next leg I'll be crossing the border into Western Australia and maybe start to see a bit of a change in the Country, not a lot though for a while I suspect. John Thank you Image Shack.
