klemon Posted July 6, 2018 Share Posted July 6, 2018 I have purchased FTX Global Base, openLC North America, Northern and Southern California Scenery I recently had to re-install FSX: Steam on my Windows 10 machine I successfully re-installed FTX Global Base, openLC North America yesterday via FTX Central Today, when trying to open FTX Central I get error "unexpected error occurred - please send %LocalAppData%\Orbx\ftxc3.log to ORBX staff" I have searched forum and tried removing Orbx folders from users\myname\appdata\local\temp and users\myname\appdata\local\, followed by re-installing ftx central The problem persists even after following this suggested protocol Help would be appreciated ftxc3.log Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

klemon Posted July 6, 2018 Author Share Posted July 6, 2018 PROBLEM SOLVED after searching for FTX Central in windows start prompt, I right clicked on program and "ran as administrator" Works like a charm I have no idea how this fixed the problem, but who cares!
