Can somebody please tell me exactly where each ORBX Area.xx should reside within my P3Dv4 scenery.cfg

and where they should be in relation to the default entries.

ORBX!VECTOR_AEC is currently at Area.004 immediately after Default Scenery and the rest are all after Bathymetry

Several of the airfields seem to have problems with airport backgrounds not actually fitting the airport causing autogen to appear on various aprons. All my other sceneries are installed

using the "\Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons" folder and an add-on.xml

Hello and welcome to the forums.  Are you familiar with the FTX Central insertion tool?  It may clear up some of your scenery.cfg problems.  Normally, the Orbx installers place the Orbx entries exactly where they are supposed to be.  If you have manually changed the location of some of the entries, which it looks like you have done so, there will be problems.  And if you have other 3rd party non-Orbx scenery entries, the Insertion Tool is designed to correct any incorrect placements.

Hi and thanks for the reply. I was not aware of this tool but will give it a try and see what happens

Hi Stewart

That appears to have solved my problem and all looks a great deal better now. One other thing I wanted to check:

I have my own scenery for KBAB and would like to confirm which files to remove/rename in the orbx folders:

ADEX_FTX_NCA_KBAB_Beale_AFB.BGL

ADEX_FTX_NCA_KBAB_Beale_AFB_CVX.bgl

FTX_NCA_objects_KBAB_PLC.bgl

The above I have already renamed with extension .bak instead of .bgl

Are there any other files I need to remove/rename ??

Regards

Hello, Pete.  I don't believe so.  Those are the usual three that should be disabled if there's a replacement for the airfield to be installed.  If you don't see any problems when you load up KBAB, then you're probably ok.
