Orbx Vector and Orbx Germany south

Recommended Posts

Hello! I recently bought germany south and vector.

installed it. Looks realy great. I have two questions. Should be all Orbx features inserted below or behind the standard fsx scenery?

Iam checking out what is the best to have full detailes and high load performance while flying low to see all the nice fields and houses ,details etc.

Can i disable FSX autogen to zero or should i set it to high?

Somehow today ive noticed that i flown about Heilderberg south germany and the fields on the ground only appeared in good graphics after some seconds. i would like to load them before i see them in front of me or beside.

Which setting ist the best?

I have a pretty good PC I7 at six core 4,5 running and 16 gigs od DDR4 ram and gtx 980TI OC....

Thank you and is there an option to set all ORBX setting to default, so ORBX vector, openLC and germany south put it on its own way in the right setting before or behind any airports or AES or else.

Thank you!

sincerely

Hi Sergej

You can find the user guides in FTXC3 that will show you the recommended settings, just click on the product box when FTXC3 is open and you will see the blue user guide button.

Also, you can confirm the below basics.

Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?)

Ensure all of your 3rd party addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries.

Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below"  just below your last 3rd party addon.

Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below"  just below your FTX entries. and click "Save".

Then, if you have Vector installed, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, and check the Australia Add-Ons under the “Settings” tab, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning.

Cheers

Doug
