active Poor performance after installing NZ South Island and Queenstown

After installing NZ South Island and Queenstown, P3D v4.2 performs terribly regardless of where I am in the world.  Sitting in the FSLabs A320 at Flightbeam KSFO, I usually get between 30 and 35 FPS; after installing these sceneries it's down to 8-10 FPS.  Disabling them in the scenery menu doesn't change anything.  After uninstalling them things are back to where they should be.

 

Is there some solution for this?  Turning down settings doesn't really help anything, nor do I think that it's an acceptable solution due to how well the sim performs without these sceneries installed.

Try a different aircraft? Get a better PC? 

 

I have the full Orbx catalog installed with everything activated and have no performance issues....and I do not use the FSLabs A320.
