NoLonger
1. Since Aerofly doesn't have seasons only the summer textures will be used. (Right?) Isn't it a nice idea to release the AFS2 version of TrueEarth Netherlands with 0.5 m/px instead of 1 m/px...? Afaik that would result in (roughly) the same size of the download and install! (If my math is wrong, calculate any #.# m/px that's needed to fill 70 GB with one season. ) AFS2 users are used to downloading a lot of data already so if P3D users don't mind the >70 GB Aerofly users won't either. This would give the AFS2 version a very big plus (and Aerofly FS 2 itself too!). Afaik the source material is 0.25 m/px so that should work perfectly. 2. If suggestion 1 isn't a good idea, how about releasing the AFS2 version with all possible season textures, as in P3D, but then available for manual activation (because AFS2 can't do that automatically)! Again, the size of the addon would be the same as the P3D one but it would give you the option to activate for instance winter textures or autumn. The textures simply would have to be put in a seperate folders for each season and using some sort of bat file (or something more sophisticated) the folders would be renamed appropriately so AFS2 would use the textures from the folders you want (sunmmer, autumn, winter, hard winter, spring). If you understand what I mean. This way we can have seasons in AFS2! Another big plus!
