Malcolm Street
Hi, I'm returning to flight simming after a long break. Started with FSX Steam Edition and having gotten sick of OOMs with add-on scenery I'm looking at P3Dv4. I have considerable ORBX scenery, and most of that I can download again in P3D form. However, my version of YMML is an FSX Steam version. Can I get a discount on buying a P3D compatible version or just have to pay the full price? Thanks, Malcolm Street Canberra
Nick Cooper
Hello Malcolm, If you had bought the Orbx product, you would have been able to download the P3D compatible version free of charge, or if on DVD, for a very small charge. However, Steam products, even though developed for Dovetail by Orbx, remain Dovetail\Steam DLC products. They install in a very different way and none of them from Orbx or not are P3D compatible. If you wish, you can wait for the next sale but you will otherwise need to buy another full priced version from Orbx Direct to use the product in P3D.
