drumsonly2002
I decided to jump in the deep end of the pool and got 2 x 256 meg Samsung SSD's for my new build (peace by peace). The idea is to raid them. Does cause much of a performance gain? Can 3 SSD's be raided?
John Venema
SSDs *love* RAID! In fact, you can add dozens of SSDs to a RAID array and you will get a doubling of performance with every SSD you add to tge array. There is a YouTube video going around, made by Samsung I think, that shows crazy performance from 24 SSDs installed on a single PC. It loads Windows in about 3-4 seconds, LOL! drumsonly2002
Sure will. Picked up the second drive today. My next purchase is the complete Orbx collection within a week or two. Have to bite the bullet and fly on my old AMD 6000. Going to stick the 2 ssd's in that unit for now. Taking that computer to the shop next week and get it going. Will keep you posted. Thanks.
