Gabe777
Is Sumburgh really so far North that there are no trees at all ? My Sumburgh area is completely bare of any trees or autogen. Is there an issue or was my 8 years at University studying biology, wasted ?
Gabe777
Hmm.... it does appear correct, so I am guessing it is due to grazing. Much like a lot of Snowdonia..... lots of sheep and other herbivores, just munch on vegetation before they can take hold. Nothing to do with the climate per se. My favourite airfield now, after Narvik..... lovely area, brilliantly rendered !
Lawrence Hickerson
And thank you Gabe for the smile this morning! I do like the flights to Norway from Sumburgh.
