active P3D V4 load time

Just curious as to how long it takes everyone else's P3D v4 to load from start until the opening screen comes up.

It takes mine about 10 minutes and that seems like a long time.

in my experience, it gets longer and longer as you add more scenery.  A default P3dV4, no addons, loads in seconds...literally.

That said, 10 minutes is quite long.  Perhaps you have ALL of the Orbx scenery! :-)

Thanks for the response.  I have all the Global Scenery and most of the North American Scenery installed.

This likely happens after install of a couple of sceneries in p3d v4. I suggest to delete scenery index files once in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SceneryIndexes_x64 and let p3d rebuild sceneries. This may reduce load times below 3 minutes.
