nisseFlying
i Got this card Asus Strix 1070 3 monitors: Nr 1 middle monitor Lg 34 3440x1440 / 60Hz 5 ms/ HDMI Nr 2,3 Side monitors left and right Samsung 940b 1024x1280 / 75Hz / HDMI If y understand right i am not gona be able to run them as surround, y was testing in nVidia settings and the 2 and 3 monitor runs surrond ok. But nr 1 can off cours not run in the same size and speed. Dont no if there is a way to go round that? My intention was ofcours to be runnig P 3Dv4 with the 3 monitors What y notice was that when y open a new window in P 3D when flying, y coulden drag it to one of the side monitor. Is there y way to solve that so y can have like other windows open on the side monitors? thx Nils from Swe
jdsams
So your first problem is size. In order to run the entire setup as one view, all monitors must be the same size (1024 x 1280, or "resolution" size must be equal). What you have is a large monitor for the main view and side monitors of "undocked" views. The main issue here is FPS. To have any other outside views may severely diminish the FPS that you see. The way that I have mine set up is main view on the top 4k monitor, Virtual cockpit on the lower front monitor (guages, etc) GPS and other items on another monitor. Depending on the AC manufacturer, this may hurt the FPS, but allows a great view outside.
Lawrence Hickerson
Not all 1070 cards are alike. check your specs for your card and see if and how it can handle the three monitors your are wishing to use. For me I use just two HP 27" er. And then use a laptop with two monitors for moving map, plates and such. Since you are not expanding your view between the two side monitors, you should be able to do it. I would set your large monitor as #1 and then just use windows on the other two as #2 and #3 monitor.
