KSAN performance...?

Hi all.  I'm looking at picking up KSAN with the current sale.

 

Can anyone comment how performance is in the area with the KSAN package compared to just with SoCal installed?

if with just so cal, you are already on the edge of things, i would be careful. thats at least my experience with a rather cpu limited system.

Thanks Mike.  That's pretty much the case, which is why I was asking.

 

Although I think the performance hit seems to come from viewing the sprawling urban expanse just east of San Diego, not necessarily KSAN, downtown, and the bay.  Heck, for $16 it's probably worth a shot.

 

Any other experiences with the subject appreciated!

Mike....where did you find the latest patch for KSAN?  I know there was conversation about a patch/upgrade, but I haven't seen anything yet.

I think you're right. With P3Dv4 starting on Rwy 9 and climbing out at 500 ft/min in the default Baron 58 I see little, if any, difference in performance when KSAN is active.....Doug

Picked it up and no FPS drop at all!
