dschaum
My Order Numbers: 598f5101e4102, 58d5bdbab7ca0, 58d5a545b89b1 Last night I went into my Lights Configurator, then tried to open the control panel. I received the following message: No installed simulator was found on your system! FTX Vector Configurator will now exit! I received the same message when I tried to enter the control panel for FTX Global Vector. The only thing I've done since the last successful attempt to enter these control panels was, I purchased and added Toposim Planet Earth Bundle (Mesh). My scenery cfg file is right where it's supposed to be....but, I also received a message from FTX Central to send in the following file which I am pasting here: [2017-10-15_02-31-13-AM 3.2.1.1] - System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\scenery.cfg'. Nick Cooper
Hello, I suspect that although it can see the file, it cannot read it. I attach a default file. Please rename your scenery.cfg file and temporarily replace it with this one. See if FTX Central will then run without the error message. scenery.cfg
dschaum
I renamed my scenery.cfg file: oldscenery.cfg. Then installed the one you sent. I still receive the message: No installed simulator was found on your system! FTX Vector Configurator will now exit!
Nick Cooper
Hello, In that case, please restore your own scenery.cfg file and discard mine. As far as I am aware, the Vector control panel requires the P3D v4 registry entry and that the exe file is named Prepar3D.exe. Are these two still in place? dschaum
An unknown anomaly I guess, because: I restored my scenery.cfg file. I then opened P3D from the executable file in the P3D folder. (instead of using the shortcut on my desktop) I then shut down P3D. I just went into FTX Central and "Whada'ya know", everything works perfectly???? YEAH! Just in case, I've replaced the short cut on my desk top with a new one. Thanks for the Sunday Chat!
Nick Cooper
Indeed, let's just go with the flow.
