costamesa Posted October 14, 2017 Share Posted October 14, 2017 Hey guys, When upgrading to 4.1 I have destroyed my Orbx scenery. Then re-installed following the instructions in this forums. costamesa Posted October 14, 2017 Author Share Posted October 14, 2017 Thank you very much for welcoming. I forgot this was my very first post since I have signed up some time ago! Yes I did upgrade the scenery and that is actually why it was destroyed.Before upgrading, I manually copied the Orbx folder somewhere else and pasted it back to the p3d root folder after the process. Then I continued to use my v 4.0 scenery.cfg file. which I also saved before upgrading. Then I saw and understood what I did was not enough and re-installed the ORBX scenery (following the instructions for minimum download on the forums here ) Global, Europe LC, N.America, Australia and Brisbane, Cairns, Canberra, Canberra city, Melbourne, Innsbruck and Arlanda and also Vector. (For future reference, reinstalling the entire simulator is totally unnecessary. Simply the client will do, a two minute job. Since yesterday I have started FTX Central several times and I did not pasted back the old scenery file. However this new order will probably cause some other problems somewhere else?
