MrLindy
Hello, I recently purchased OLS-SA and am having trouble getting only one airport to display at its proper altitude (the SEQM airport elevation is 7910 ft., but when on the runway, my altimeter displays as 9240 ft.). In an effort to fix this problem myself, I have tried the following, all without satisfactory results: 1- Running the airport elevation tool within FTX Central 3, after installing OLC-SA first, then SEQM second. Airport still sits atop what looks like a mountain about 1,330 feel above all surrounding terrain. 2- uninstalled both OLC-SA and the offending airport (SEQM). Reinstalled OLC-SA, ran airport elevation tool, then FSX, without SEQM installed. Area surrounding old SEQU airport looks fine, without SEQM installed. 3- Installed SEQM, ran elevation tool, booted FSX, and now have SEQM again above everything else about 1,330 feet. I have attached screenshots for your review. Hopefully, they will help you. Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide regarding this problem. Nick Cooper
Hello, Airports' elevations are set by the airport itself, so if you find yourself at 9240 feet at the airport, the error lies in the airport and nothing else. What is the addon SEQM that you are attempting to use?
MrLindy
It's a file I downloaded from AVSIM's library. I've attached it to this note. Thank you for such a prompt reply! - Eric fsx_seqm.zip
MrLindy
Here's the airport's properties listing. I have not done anything to this airport, except find this property using Scruffy Duck's airport design editor program.
Nick Cooper
Thanks. I see that it seems to be at the height you said it should be at.
