answered LOWI CTD/PMDG Aircraft

Prepar3D version: 4.0.28.21686

FTX Central version:  FTX 3.2.2.8

Windows version: Win 10 Pro

Airport where you see the issue: LOWI T/O Rwy 26 ~ 5-7 miles out on the RNAV DP

Briefly describe your issue: The CTD occurs with  a range of PMDG products.  It does NOT occur with the default aircraft and Aerosoft CRJ.  If I disable the LOWI scenery, it works with ALL aircraft.  I have tried previous versions of the .dll--same result.  Thanks--

I’m getting consistent apphangb1 ctd’s descending into into Orbx LOWI with the PMDG NGX. Doesn’t happen anywhere else or with any other aircraft.

    apphangb1 errors occur with a corrupted DirectX application, it is very likely not an Orbx Software issue. You may need to contact  the relevant Developer that uses DirectX

Sorry for my ignorance but what would the relevant directx application be?

Hi,

 

     I and or we, only give support for FTX Orbx Systems Simulation products David, you have already narrowed down the cause, as written in the first comment. You need to verify with that Developer as to the DirectX issues you are having. It is my understanding that some Developers of Aircraft use DirectX in their installers. This is as far as I am willing to help you on the matter, I am very certain, this is not an Orbx Related Issue.
