Tamba765
I have P3Dv4, and made several purchases, during the recent sale, of airports that were P3Dv3 compatible. I opted into the Fast Lane, and installed Object Flow 2 in order to use them. I was having freeze and CTD problems, so I deactivated OF2. I've since had a new hard drive installed, and have reinstalled all the ORBX scenery I previously purchased, with the exception of the P3Dv3 items. My question is, how will I know when these P3Dv3 airports become P3Dv4 compatible, and will I be able to install these items without repurchasing them? Are there any special steps that will be required to do this? Thanks.
Nick Cooper
Hello, as you did before, you can already add them by opting back in.
Tamba765
I really don't want to opt back in, since I was having problems. So, will there be a way in the future to use those purchases if they become compatible with P3Dv4. That's what I need to know. Thanks.
Nick Cooper
Hello, perhaps I did not make myself clear. The airports are already compatible with P3D v4. For them to work correctly, they need the objectflow module, which is what was being beta tested, not the airports. I believe that the release of the finished objectflow module for P3D v4 is to happen soon and then the airports will be "released" to all customers with P3D v4. I think that all the problems have been ironed out. You can either opt in again and try the airports again now, or wait until the general release, however, whichever you choose, you are likely to have the same objectflow module. Tamba765
Ok, now you've made yourself clear and answered my question. Well, if the problems have been ironed out then, it should be an updated module. Thanks.
