Gavin Foster
If I install FTX Global Vector and then load EGSS then everything is fine (apart from trees on the taxiways). Then I install EU England, load EGSS and now there are no trees taxiways BUT the runways and taxiways are hovering above ground level. If I uninstall EU England I am back to ground level, and without either product things are also fine. If I uninstall FTX Global Vector and just have EU England, my runways are still hovering. I don't have any other EGSS scenery. My scenery.cfg order with just EU England: Title=Prepar3D Scenery Title=Default Terrain Title=Default Scenery Title=0000 Base ... Doug Sawatzky
Hi, welcome to the forums, Please apply the below procedure. Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?) Ensure all of your 3rd party addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries. Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below" just below your last 3rd party addon. Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below" just below your FTX entries. and click "Save". Then run the "Force Migration" option. Finally Click on the "Clear Temp" button. Then, if you have Vector installed, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, and check the Australia Add-Ons under the “Settings” tab, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning. Gavin Foster
Thanks, I have followed these instructions but same problem. With EU England = floating runway, without EU England = runway back on the ground. I note that EGSS is not listed for AEC enabling/disabling. Gavin Foster
If i disable the FTX_EU_ENG_07_MESH folder, then this "fixes" or at least avoid the issue.
Doug Sawatzky
Is your mesh resolution set to 5m?

Gavin Foster
Specifically this file that I can remove to get the runway back onto the ground. mesh_FTX_EU_ENG_multiLOD4-13_N52-50_E0-2 Interestingly the buildings and everything else is not affected by this, just runways and taxiways. Gavin Foster
I tried another UK airport at random and its the same issue - runway above the ground.... strange.
Gavin Foster
I am going to reinstall P3D and see if its all OK then.
Gavin Foster
I reinstalled completely from scratch: P3D V4 Orbx Libraries FTX Global Base Pack openLC Europe FTX Global Trees HD FTX Global Vector EU England And I tested EGSS after each step, and it was fine right up until EU England installed, and then the runways are floating again. I have no other add-ons now whatsoever so its definitely an issue with the ORBX stuff. Thanks.
Gavin Foster
I might have figured it out... will reply here when I have done some more tests. One thing I noticed is that when you uninstall P3D it doesn't remove the "C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4" folder so, you may think you have installed "completely from scratch" but there are some things being carried over between installs, unless you delete this folder manually. Gavin Foster
A reinstall including manually deleting the "C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4" folder has now fixed things.
