rwcatherall
Hi, P3Dv4 - As I'm a little new to this I'm seeking advise, I've noticed that when I add scenery addon's they always end up below ORBX FTX scenery in the Scenery Area. However FSDT CYVR because it's added using the XML install procedure ends up on top (Higher Priority) because it not written to the 'scenery.cfg' file. My question is should I add CYVR to the 'scenery.cfg' file and move it below ORBX files? Bob
RRVyper
I believe airports should have top priority. I also have FSDT CYVR and did not manually add it to Scenery cfg. It correctly loads at the top of the Scenery Library within P3Dv4. Here's so good info: http://c-aviation.net/fsx-scenery-library-order-orbx-global/ Randy
Dave_YVR
You might also want to look that your FTX PNW (assuming that you have it) has the CYVR files disabled. You obviously have a good understanding with ADE and file placements etc. The only CYVR file you want to have remaining active in the FTX PNW scenery folder would be FTX_PNW_objects_CYVR_Delta_PLC.bgl
Nick Cooper
Hello, as far as other addon airports in the scenery library are concerned, you can use the Insertion Point tool on the FTX Central settings page to choose where the FTX and OLC scenery library entries are placed. Set the FTX icon at a point just below the lowest of your other addon scenery and the OLC icon just below that. Click on save and any other addon airports you may add will always be above the FTX scenery. Scenery addons using the xml method will indeed always appear at the top of the scenery library, unless they are set not to. One way to do this is to use the Lorby-SI AddonOrganizer_P3D_V4.
