golfacce
What is OpenLC? I purchased the North America - Southern California package and not getting any scenery improvement from the default FSX Scenery plus some add-on scenery. In fact, now LAX is missing the building structures. I do see AI traffic and loading ramps, but no building structures. Was I suppose to also download OpenLC for the scenery to improve? Thanks Golfacce

Matt McGee
2 hours ago, golfacce said: What is OpenLC? OpenLC is an Orbx product that replaces the default "land class" layer of FSX/P3D scenery. Land class tells the sim what type (class) of land (beach, forest, farm, city, desert, ...) goes at each point on the ground. Each Orbx "Global" product corresponds to one of the scenery layers. Orbx "regions" (Southern California, South Alaska, Norway, etc...) are each a total scenery package that contain ALL the layers, plus additional features, for a certain area. I've got a comparison image posted and a link to the Orbx product guide in this thread: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/135779-global-open-lc-europe-and-regions-eu-england-scotland-wales/#comment-1203701
