FTX Central does not download / install scenery

I just built a new pc using win 10, so I had to reinstall PD3 v4.

1) FTX Central seemed to download my orbx Global base files and that they are installed (but these entries are not in scenery library).

2) FTX Central keeps freezing at about 30% for FTX OpenLC NA. When I close reopen FTX Central, it states that FTX OpenLC Na is installed (but again, the entries do not show in the scenery library).

3) FTX Central stops freezes when downloading vector

I had an similar issue (with the scenery libray) 2 weeks back and was told to use forced migration, however, the forced migration button is disabled in FTX Central now.

Do I need to things in a certain order? I Have the following...

Transaction ID: 59270fedbbfdd - FTX Global BASE Pack

Transaction ID: 59270fedbbfdd  - FTX Global Vector

Transaction ID: 5927113baac3e - FTX Global openLC North America

Transaction ID: 5927113baac3e - FTX Global Trees HD

I am now manually downloading everything so I don't have to keep restarting the FTX process.

Hi,

Here is also some more info that may be helpful. :)

Your simulator and all other programs need to be closed first, make sure your antivirus is not blocking it and your UAC is turned off, then try the below procedure.

Go to FTX Central 3 Settings.

Uncheck the “Use multiple threads for downloads”.

Click on the “Clear Temp” Button.

Click on “Save”.

Restart FTXC3, and try again.

Alternatively, you can also use a download manager such as IDM and do a manual download from your Orbx Direct account web page (this is where a download manager works great) and click on the account button top of page, then find and click on the product info, and in the bottom line small print there is a manual download option, down load it and save it in a named folder, then open FTXC3 and select it, and click on the orange "installation options" and select "Install from my manually downloaded .zip". as per the below links. :)

Then after your products are installed, apply the below procedure.

Ensure the Orbx Libs are installed and up to date. (is there a blue notification above the settings button in FTXC3?)

Ensure all of your 3rd party addons are at the top of your scenery library and above your FTX entries.

Then in FTX Central 3 Insertion points, move "FTX entries should be inserted below"  just below your last 3rd party addon.

Then move the "openLC entries should be inserted below"  just below your FTX entries. and click "Save".

Then run the "Force Migration" option.

Finally Click on the "Clear Temp" button.

Then, there is a Vector control panel access button at the bottom of the FTXC3 settings page. When you open it you can select the amount of road coverage etc, be sure to uncheck the "Frozen Surface (in winter only)"option, then go to the Airport Elevation Correction (AEC tool) tab and run the auto configuration process and be sure to click on "Appy" when it is done scanning.

Cheers

 Doug
