Nick Cooper Posted July 19, 2017 Share Posted July 19, 2017 In the past, some customers have had an anti virus program that has wrongly identified the Vector control panel as a virus and deleted it. Nick Cooper Posted July 19, 2017 Share Posted July 19, 2017 Hello. Your reply indicates to me that you may have installed your simulator to the root of your C drive. This location for Vector cannot be: C:\Users\mustang56\Desktop\FTX_vector_CVX\scenery Software must always have its own folder, for example C:\FSX or C:\P3Dv4 If this was the case on your PC, you would be seeing the error message Could not find a part of the path C:\P3Dv4 or FSX\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_CVX\scenery If your simulator is installed to C:\ then it must be uninstalled, a root folder created and then the installer pointed to that root folder. mustang56 Posted July 20, 2017 Author Share Posted July 20, 2017 Mr. Cooper. Thanks for your help. Had to uninstall FTX Global Vector then reinstall version 1.52. Everything working normally now. In fact, my scenery seems to be better than before. Shimmering buildings and runways not as bad after resetting all sliders to Vectors user guide recommendations.
