jb44mag
I am troubleshooting an issue with crashing when crossing terrain boundaries. Is there a way to turn off ORBX, without uninstalling, to go back to default fsx default scenery? -Jim #225616 - FTX: Global
Nick Cooper
Hello Jim, yes, just un-tick all the scenery library entries and restart or reload the scenery.
jb44mag
Sorry, i don't understand. Do see where to "un-tick" What I do see is the option to "uninstall" I don't think I want to do that, eh? -Jim
Nick Cooper
If you can find the in-game scenery library of your simulator, you will see a tick box to the left of each entry. If you remove that tick and reload the scenery, the un-ticked scenery will no longer be active.
jb44mag
Nick: I managed to un-tick all the fsx boxes to get back to fsx default scenery and test the Carenado Phenom 300 when crossing terrain boundaries. Still crashing the program (FSX). Re-ticked all the fsx/orbx boxes, restarted computer and FSX. Black boxes now appear everywhere in the scenery. Ran FTX Central 3 and display showed all sceneries needed to be updated. Updated all. Black boxes everywhere. Attached is a screen shot. The boxes occur regardless of airport or plane. -Jim
jb44mag
OK. My bad. I should have first searched the forum for "black boxes" My bad. Unchecked Preview DirectX10 and problem solved. -Jim
