hobaoe
i have p3dv3, ftx global, vector, openlc north america and the lukla airport in nepal is inside a giant hole and it isnt were it should be. ive done a total reinstall twice and it still the same. ive found out that vanilla p3dv3 the airport is normal but not in the correct place. when installing global base its the same, but after vector its its inside a hole. i just tought that vector should have fixed that and certenly open lc. hobaoe
thanks. but shouldnt vector and open lc put the airport in the right location??
Nick Cooper
No, absolutely not. Open LC arranges textures, it has no effect at all on airports. The only effect that Vector can have on airports is to adjust the elevation. The problem lies with the hopelessly inaccurate placing of the airport by the simulator. Please read the linked topic, where all this is explained, as well as offering suggestions on how you can achieve Lukla airport in the right place and looking much more like it should. Nick Cooper
Off topic, we don't do ETAs. It has been in beta testing for a while. You will appreciate that it is a huge project and that testing is likely to take some time.
