Marley767
I have bought and installed North America Pacific Northwest, order number 591567529703c. When I took off from Seattle Tacoma Airport however, I noticed the entire airport seems to disappear in giant sinkholes...... I have also got FTX Global Base, FTX Global Vector and FS Global 2010 terrain enhancement installed. Any idea how to fix this?
Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. This airport requires that you use the Vector Control panel to disable AEC for KSEA. You might wish to run the automatic configuration to minimise the chances of you seeing similar errors elsewhere. If you do that and encounter an error message, the solution will probably be this
Marley767
Just wondering how I access the Vector Control Panel? In my FTX Central that option is not highlighted, see screenshot.
Nick Cooper
Hello again, Possibly the control panel has been removed by your anti virus software. I attach a copy in case this has happened, you will need to exclude it from virus checking. It should be placed in the ORBX\FTX_VECTOR folder. Marley767
Nick, that worked, see the attached screenshot. You were right, Norton Antivirus had deleted the Vector Control panel. I could have know, a few weeks ago it deleted the FTXCentral.exe file, after which I could not access any scenery files anymore. Luckily I was able to restore that. Seems Norton is a bit quick on the trigger deleting files that have to do with FSX Scenery??? Anyway thanks for your help!!
