I have found some products do list the disk space needed for install - but other sceneries do not. I am trying to determine if my current FSX disk partition is large enough for the FTX sceneries I plan to purchase. The short purchase list includes: Sedona Catalina Island Northern California Southern California Meigs Field So I m interested in their install sizes. Triplane Posted April 24, 2017 Share Posted April 24, 2017 These are the sizes of the backup .zip files for all the ORBX sceneries (this was once here as a sticky but I can't find it). These aren't the exact installed sizes but they are probably within 10-15% and should give you a general idea idea of how much space is required (the total installed size for everything is about 260GB). Ticker7 Posted April 25, 2017 Share Posted April 25, 2017 Hi Triplane that is a pretty good list but is missing all the Freeware airports in the USA and Europe but I agree you need a fair amount of hd space for everything (like me and many others) just as point of ref the total on my hd for my ORBX installation is currently at 274Gig not including aircraft, so Yes you may need a fair amount of space if you become addicted ;-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
