767driver
Not sure what's going on I am a FTX AuBlue user, just installed FTX GA Freeware airports. The install program ran OK, but when loading FSX for the first time afterwards nothing appeared to be added to the Scenery database. Fired up FSX at Hobart YMBH, no change. Looked at Scenery Library, no additions, so manually added FTX freeware, but no change still at Hobart. Firstly what have I done wrong ? Secondly what order should the FTX sceneries be in the scenery library after the install? (OS is Vista 64bit, UAC was turned on originally when FSX and FTX was installed, but it's now turned off before adding the GA Airports) Looking forward however to get it all running ! - Thanks 767driver
John Venema
Not sure what happened for you but here's the folder which should be in the ORBX\FTX_AU folder if you already had FTX AU BLUE installed: FTXAU05_ROADS FTXAU08_FREEWARE <---- this is the new folder FTXAU45_SCENERY FTXAU46_SHORES FTXAU48_CUSTOM If you did not have AU BLUE installed, it would look like: FTXAU05_ROADS FTXAU08_FREEWARE FTXAU45_SCENERY The FSX scenery library entries should be in the same order. Also please note that YMHB Hobart does not add any new terminals etc. It's only a photoreal base and autogen annotation makeover for that airport. Please can post a screenshot to see what it looks like for you?
John Venema
I'd also recommend you run the V1.01 patch installer.
