wethersfield
I am attempting to reinstall England, the file is in a separate folder, I am running as administrator, it unwraps, starts the install process, then stops dead in it's tracks and asks me to insert disc # 2, there are no discs in this process. What do I need to do to make this reinstall work correctly? Thank you,
Nick Cooper
Hello, This must be still a Flight Sim Store installer. The file you downloaded from the Flight Sim Store is compressed, to make it a smaller file to download. It is asking for disk 2 because in the compressed state, the installer cannot see the next files that it needs. Unfortunately, the installer cannot use the files while they are compressed, so they must be decompressed before the installer is run. The recommended software to do this was 7 zip, which is freeware or WinZip which has a demo version or WinRar, which also has a demo version. wethersfield
The file was decompressed, that's the first thing I did. Tried to install again this morning, still won't install. Very frustrating.
Nick Cooper
Hello again, I use WinRar and have made you an illustration of what needs to be done. If this is done like this, the installer will indeed install the product. You can see that all the files have been extracted (unzipped, decompressed) and they are now all in the same folder and outside the downloaded zip file. It remains only to right click on OrbxFTXEUENG130.zip, select Run as an administrator and the process will begin.
