smokeyupahead
Hello everyone, I want to reinstall Steam on C: since it's causing me a lot of problems being now in the Program Files folder. In order to uninstall all my Orbx stuff do I need to proceed via FTX Central by uninstalling every single scenery? Couldn't I just leave things untouched and just delete the folders? When I reinstall would I run into problems reinstalling with FTX? Thank you, David DD
Nick Cooper
Hello, Have a read of this topic which should help you out. Be sure to use the Steam Delete local content function and its install function or your registry entries will still point to where it is now. smokeyupahead
Thank you Nick, that is gold! I was worried I had to download everything again! I do have quite a bit of scenery from Orbx.

Nick Cooper
Probably nothing to do with the re-install. Can you attach the error log, if there is one please?

Nick Cooper
Hello, Thanks. FTX Central thinks you have a ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX-SE\scenery,cfg file but you do not. You will have a PrograData\Microsoft\FSX\scenery.cfg file. To convince FTX Central to write to this file instead, you can try visiting this page. Download the FSX Registry Utility and use it to set the FSX registry entry pointing to where you have FSX SE installed. If you are then offered a choice to run FTX Central between FSX and FSX SE, choose FSX.
