Somerled Posted December 18, 2016 Share Posted December 18, 2016 I’ve installed FTX Global, but see no difference in scenery. I’ve also looked at screenshots of Riga with OpenLC, and the level of detail far exceeds mine. I’m running an i-3570k with 16GB of RAM and an NVidia GT-760 with 2GB of RAM. FTX Central reports FTX Global Base pack as “installed and up to date.” ORBX libraries are up to date. I’ve read the FTX Global User Guide and I think I’ve changed all the FSX settings accordingly. My monitor is set to 1920 x 1080 in FSX. In FSX under Settings-Scenery, the first four things that are enabled are: FTXAA_Orbxlibs, Orbx!OPENLC_BASE, Orbx!OPENLC_EUROPE1, and Orbx!OPENLC_NAMERICA1; followed by Addon Scenery. In the Steamapps\CommonFSX\Orbx\ folder, I don’t see a folder for an “FSX Global” or the like—only FTX_AU and FTX_OLC I’m assuming I’ve gotten some setting wrong—any ideas? Thanks in advance. Sometimes what is seen is not what is expected and the best way is to post a screen shot. Be sure to add the coordinates of where it is and a comparison can be made with a correct installation. Somerled Posted December 19, 2016 Author Share Posted December 19, 2016 Thanks for your reply. I made about a dozen attempts to sign up for imgur without success, so I've uploaded a .jpg instead. It's similar to the level of detail I got in FSX before, but as it's Riga, it should reflect the OpenLC data, correct? I have to say that your screen shot, showing mainly the VC interior and a default airport, is not the easiest to compare with.
