Geezer
When I reinstalled windows and fsxse a few weeks ago I didn't install the Australia region because I use vector and didn't want any conflicts. Also I didn't want the hassle of unchecking and rechecking the necessary vector folders in the scenery library. I would very much like to install Australia if I can avoid the hassle. Is there a way to do this? Seems like I read somewhere about how ftxcv3 would do it automatically. If so, how would this work? Or maybe I could take out the vector files from the Australia region if ftxc wouldn't automatically put them back in. Any answers would be appreciated. Stewart Hobson
Hi, Geezer. There is an addon tab in FTXCv3 that allows you to tick a box that handles turning off Vector when you use Australia automatically.
Geezer
Cool. What happens afterwards when Vector is off? Does it somehow turn back on automatically? FTXC is normally off. Whenever I need to use it, the program downloads, installs itself and starts. Will the automatic Australia still work if FTSC is off?
Stewart Hobson
Vector switches back "on" when you aren't flying in Australia. And yes, FTXC doesn't have to be running for the Australia setting for Vector (off) to be active, as far as I'm aware. I just set it and forget it. Geezer
Somebody prematurely marked this thread answered. I cannot find the added tab anywhere to set Australia on auto.
Stewart Hobson
It's in the Vector package/program, Geezer, the "settings" tab all the way over to the right.
