active FTX SCA Southern CA, KLAX fuel tanks pop in and out

Hi, I just installed this scenery. All seems fine except at KLAX. 

South of Rwy7R there are large white fuel tanks. These tanks keep popping in and out of the view. 

When flying close to them you can see the top ring of each tank but no white tank.

Then suddenly they will appear again, but briefly before disappearing again.

Surrounding autogen as in houses, trees etc are ok, only these tanks are disappearing.

I have tried to find some answers. I found on you tube a fellow that was describing this scenery.

I noticed that when he flew inbound to 7R at KLAX those tanks popped in and out of his view also.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Here's a solution from a year ago.  Don't know if there is anything more recent:

I did deactivate that file and sure enough many of the tanks now do not display. At least they don't appear and disappear I guess.

So yes this is certainly a temporary fix, as the undesirable effect is now a barren wasteland in that area - when I really would like to see those big white tanks! - but just not popping in and out of the scenery.

I would have thought that if this temporary fix was from a year ago, there would have been a permanent fix/update by now.

Perhaps one is forthcoming. For now it will have to do.

I would wait and see if Holger has any recent information.  As I recall, there might have been a patch issued, because I don't have the flashing effect anymore.
