Black Boxes all over NorCal

I have never visited the USA, I'm afraid, though I have been to York and Selby.:)

The black shapes are the FTX lighting which the Preview Direct X 10 mode cannot display.

If you wish to explore the problem a little further, there are two ways.

There is a freeware fix at the Avsim Library, file name shader_release_v3.2.3.zip

and a payware fix at https://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.com/how-to-purchase/

Either of these will allow you to run FTX products in the Preview Direct X 10 mode.

The freeware fix does not address many of the other inherent problems left by the Microsoft

developers.

The payware fix addresses almost all of them and is still being supported and developed.

Most of us who do use it find performance to be much better and it does add some

features missing in Direct X 9.

@Nick Cooper Nick how is your SteveFix configured in order to get rid of the black boxes? I have it as well but I'm still getting the boxes. I am not attaching any serial number as this seems to be an issue with Ftx Global Lights, but I can give you another licences if needed.
