active Unable to install Central v3

Trying to download v3 gives an error message and my original v2 icon now no longer works. Note I had to renew my identity (with the same email, ID and password) to get accepted by the new home page.
I run FSX SE and P3D2 both on a local disc "F" and not on the system drive "C" and have had no issues with this installation previously.

Hi Leyland,

 

What error message does the FTX Central installer give you?

 

Could you please perform the following steps to give me a more detailed error report:

1. Start Event Viewer (eventvwr.exe). This can be found in your start menu.
2. Expand “Windows Logs” then click “Application”.
3. Look for an error where the source is “.NET Runtime”.
4. Copy everything in the “General” tab and paste it in a new topic in this forum.

Would you be able to restart your computer, then try running the installer again? I believe another process may still be accessing the directory that the installer is trying to delete.
